Robert Azzara

Robert Azzara joined Ambrx as Vice President Human Resources in March 2023. Mr. Azzara has over 20 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in all aspects of Human Resources, including Organization Development, Talent Acquisition and Compensation Planning. He has a proven track record of building out life sciences organizations at various phases of evolution, from discovery to fully-integrated companies with late-stage development and commercialization capabilities. For the past eight years, he has served in management roles at oncology-focused biotechnology companies, including Head of Talent and Development at Immunomedics and Head of Human Resources for Advaxis Inc.
Mr. Azzara holds a B.S. degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and an M.B.A. from Pace University.
